I arrived at Apartment Zdenka on a solo motorcycle tour, a little early for my room. While I waited, the hostess offered me food from their table, and her husband managed to offer me a beer despite the language barrier. The room was extremely clean, well-sized, and well-equipped, with plenty of parking. The area is quiet, and the closest restaurant and grocery store are around a 10-15 minute walk away. Amazing Croatian hospitality.

We only stayed one night, but Zdenka was very kind and welcoming. She let us choose between apartments and offered us drinks and cake. The apartment was really nice and clean. We'll definitely stay here again when we come back to Starigrad.

The hosts even offered to take me to Zadar early the next morning, for a much more reasonable price than the only Uber car I could find. I’d ended up in Starigrad on Friday evening with no way to get there, and found this place completely by chance. They welcomed me right away, gave me a really nice place to stay, and offered me food and a drink. We had a lovely conversation in a mix of Croatian and Russian, with a few English words thrown in. It made my last day in Croatia unforgettable. My heartfelt thanks, hvala puno!

Zdenka was a great host, and we’ll definitely come back. The apartment had a large balcony with a sea view, air conditioning, heating, and great kitchen appliances. It was also possible to store my bicycle in the garage. A really nice place.
