Bed And Breakfast Miramar

We came for a romantic getaway and left feeling like part of the family. The family and staff running the place made our stay feel truly special. Check-in was incredibly easy, and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. Our room was spotless and nicely finished. The setting is beautiful, with the sea just 2 meters away and lovely romantic views. And the food deserves a mention of its own: the seafood was so fresh it felt like we were eating right by the sea. It's a wonderful place to stay and eat in the city.

Eating right by the water was a lovely part of the stay, and the service was excellent. The building and rooms aren't new, but everything was clean, so that wasn't a problem. Breakfast was better than I expected: an omelette (they called it scrambled eggs), cold cuts and cheese with bread, a small croissant, honey, butter, a Nutella-like spread, jams, yogurt, and coffee or tea. A good way to start the day.

I ended up cancelling my stay because the manager kept speaking to me rudely, and the place felt too expensive for what it was. I don't think it was worth the price. My single room was advertised as having a sea view, but only part of it faced the sea. The other part looked onto the street, where the passing cars were clearly audible. When I raised this, she said nobody else had complained and that she had never claimed to be in the mountains 😂 I felt scammed because the only picture shown was of the balcony overlooking the sea, and that didn't match what I actually got.

The staff were so kind and attentive, and they clearly cared about making guests comfortable. Our room was clean and well maintained, with a view of the Adriatic. We also enjoyed several delicious meals at the restaurant. Thank you!
