The food was phenomenal, and I had a great Manhattan at the outdoor bar. Most of the staff, interestingly, were from the UK. I had a wonderful time and am already planning to bring my family back. It was only a one-night stay, but it worked out perfectly. Even though the hotel was very busy, reception got me into a room at 12:30. It was spotless and a little small, but had everything I needed.

We got a good off-season deal, and the rooms were comfortable with a lovely view. The gym was handy and spacious, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. One person we dealt with at reception was quite rude, though. I booked because of the 50m lap pool, but it was only filled in the final days of our stay, and by then it was too cold for laps. Breakfast was okay, though I would have liked more fruit. It seems like a great destination for climbers and hikers.

The location is amazing, and there's an old tower along the shore as you walk from the hotel. We came as a large group and, with the reception staff, managed to hand out room cards and direct everyone. We had to leave early, and they prepared wonderful breakfast packages for the whole group. The amenities were great, and the service was splendid, professional, and helpful. They sorted out all our small issues and problems. I can't thank them enough, and I really recommend this hotel.

Whether you're there for a summer holiday or for hiking and climbing in Velebit and Paklenica National park, this is a great hotel. The family room was spacious and tidy, and good value for money. There's a large pool as well as two smaller ones. The staff were friendly and the food was great, especially enjoyed on the summer terrace among Mediterranean trees. The beach bar was very pleasant too.
