Villa Stokovci

Really enjoyed our stay, and I’d definitely recommend it!

There’s lots of room and activities for every age at this spotless holiday home. The grounds are well cared for, and the owner is friendly. I’d happily give it more stars. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at Villa Stokovci and would consider coming back another time, hopefully with better weather. The owner was very accommodating, left us sweets and drinks when we arrived, and was always there if we had questions. Very kind, thank you! We were eight family members, including a toddler, and brought three dogs. There was plenty of space for everyone. Every bedroom had its own shower bathroom, and one also had a bathtub. The house was modern, very clean, and well kept, and check-in and checkout were easy. The garden is huge, with a pool, hot tub, mini golf, badminton court, fire pit, and a fully equipped games room with an exercise bike, pool table, and more. The first batch of firewood was provided, and more was available nearby. The area seems to be developing, with many construction sites where more rental villas are presumably being built. We were delighted with the choice in every way. Sadly, the weather wasn’t very cooperative, so we had to stick to the hot tub and games room.

The biggest shock was finding a camera in the sunbathing and pool area. That’s absolutely unacceptable. The week was also far too expensive for what we got. We’ve stayed in many holiday homes, and this one was a real letdown for its price. I wouldn’t value it at more than €1,500 for a week in peak season. Just a few hundred euros more let us enjoy a luxury villa with a private beach near Split the week before. We were four people at Villa Stokovic in summer 2021. Getting there was easy, and the surrounding area was okay. The fridge had a selection of drinks, the living rooms and bedrooms had air conditioning, and every bedroom had a nicely equipped bathroom. The house itself was very clean, with a lovely landscaped garden where butterflies fluttered around the lavender all day. But there were giant ants all over the garden, so you couldn’t walk around without shoes. The pool and jacuzzi were dirty when we arrived, despite the owner saying they’d been cleaned. The furniture throughout was extremely poor quality and felt like something from a youth hostel. All the beds had the same uncomfortable mattresses. Every one of us had back pain after the first day, then headaches on the second.
