We found this a cozy, homey retreat in Sućuraj, with clean rooms and hosts who were friendly, helpful, and easy to reach. Nothing was missing during our stay. The beach is 50 m away, and the center takes a 10-minute walk.

The Modric family were so kind. They were happy to show me around and take me out on their boat for reasonable prices, which isn't something you can count on everywhere. The island itself has plenty to see and discover, great food, and wonderful beaches. I was feeling too lazy to cook, so Ivan, I think that’s the son's name, offered to cook for us. It was fish he had caught that day. We came here to rest and swim, but these wonderful hosts made the holiday so much fuller than expected. The best compliment for any accommodation is coming back, and we'll be here again this summer :)

You can rent his boat and draw on his knowledge to explore all the beautiful corners of this wild island. He's a really friendly host and a good fisherman too, so you can get fresh fish at great prices.

The scenery was incredible and the beach beautiful. Our hosts were welcoming and great, and anything we asked for was provided as quickly as possible. Definitely recommend! :)
