Guesthouse Ema

We spent six nights here, and I can see why the owners deserve the highest rating. From my first call, the owner was easy to talk to, and they let us check in earlier than expected. The place was very clean, and there were fresh towels in the room. You can ask for more if you need them. Our room had a fridge, and the kitchen downstairs had anything else we needed, like extra glasses, a knife, or a fruit bowl. We also had a small balcony for evening drinks. The beach is just across the street and behind the house, with both rocks and sand to choose from. There are bars nearby for coffee, beer, or fast food, and you can order breakfast or coffee at the apartment. We also had a mini bar. For lunch or dinner, we got a great recommendation for Konoba Porat, where the food was excellent and the prices reasonable. There was also chicken and a cheeseburger on the beach. It's a quiet place where you can come back and rest, good for anyone looking to recharge or for couples with kids. To go out, we took the Liburnija bus to Zadar, about a 15-minute ride. One ticket was 15 kunas, or 2 €. On the way back, splitting the taxi fare between four of us came to 30 kunas, or 4 € per person. The full taxi fare from Zadar to Sukošan was 16 €, whether Uber or a regular taxi. The Flix bus from Zagreb to Sukošan cost 17 € for the return trip. Guesthouse Ema was a lovely stay. The owners are friendly and kind, and you can tell they enjoy their work. I highly recommend it.
