Villa Olive Garden Apartments

A great spot, with a quiet place to relax whenever you want.

The garden was the real highlight, with a pool, sun loungers, and olive, lemon, and mandarin trees all around. The villa is in a quiet spot, but everything is easy to get to. The owners were friendly and helpful, and gave us great tips. Inside, the apartment was huge, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed. We’ve never stayed anywhere quite like it. Simply breathtaking.

The view from the terrace, across the sea to the islands, is incredible at any time of day. There are two small terraces and a large one, with sturdy seating and a quality table. In the garden, we found sunny and shady places to sit, a modern pergola with a louvered roof, a big clean pool, and an outdoor shower with solar-heated hot water. I especially liked sitting under the olive tree. The one thing that bothered us was that drinks aren’t allowed by the pool. I would have liked an evening Aperol Spritz in the lounge area, so we had ours on our terrace instead. It’s not a big deal, and really the only downside for us. The apartment was spotless, with no dust or mold, and tastefully put together. It had plenty of dishes and cutlery, all the cooking items we needed, a wine cooler and glasses, a Nespresso machine with a milk frother, a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and big TV. Both bedrooms had their own split air conditioning, and there were two units in the kitchen-living area. The place cooled down in minutes. The building seemed very well insulated, so we only needed to run the air conditioning briefly in the afternoon. Even the family with three small children next door couldn’t be heard. There was plenty of space, and the furniture and equipment felt high quality. It’s a very quiet location, with the beach and harbor a few minutes’ walk away, so a car isn’t essential. The area is geared towards tourists, but wasn’t overcrowded. Beach access was good, with medium-sized round stones or a jetty. The water was clear and there were no sea urchins, unlike a few kilometers away, so snorkeling was great. Our hosts communicated with us through a WhatsApp group, and the Wi-Fi, which was down when we arrived, was fixed within a day, even though it was Sunday. We were really impressed by that. A fantastic holiday and a beautiful destination. My fingers are worn out from typing, but I highly recommend this place!

Everything is new and fully equipped, and the popular beach is only a short walk away.
