Villa Renipol

The rooms are basic but clean, and the view from the balcony over the sea and sunset is fantastic. We spent 8 days here and really enjoyed our stay. The owners work hard and make you feel welcome, and the pool is a great place to relax. There’s a small village about a 10-minute walk away. It’s worth renting a car to see the island’s other lovely spots. I’d recommend staying here.

We had everything we needed in the apartment, including the kitchen and bathroom, and found it clean and comfortable for our stay. We didn’t get around to using the garden barbecue, though it was available. We did use the pool a few times and enjoyed it. Vladimir was a friendly, helpful host who shared useful information about the area and offered help if needed.

The hosts welcomed us with homemade drinks and shared lots of tips for Brac and the other islands. It’s a handy base for exploring the island, with several beaches and the center of Sutivan within walking distance. The apartment was very nice, though the rooms felt a little dated. Sutivan is one of the loveliest towns on Brac. The center has little traffic and plenty of restaurants where you can eat with a nice view.

Our apartment, number 5, had an amazing view across the village to Split, and the kids loved the pool. The family who owns the place was very friendly and helpful, and being able to use the washing machine was a lovely extra. Local beaches are an easy walk away. Sutivan was a great base for our week on Brac. I’d recommend visiting the island if you prefer local culture and atmosphere to very touristy places, and don’t mind driving on narrow country roads.
