Apartment nedo is a nice place for a vacation. The rooms are in good condition, with simple little balconies outside. There's a romantic room design for couples and a larger room for families. The kitchen and swimming pool were clean, and it's good for summer.
The hosts were professional and so hospitable that we felt at home. Apartment Nedo exceeded our expectations: very clean and comfortable, and nicely decorated. We'd recommend it to anyone and will definitely come back!
The owners were welcoming, and during our stay they were discreet. The apartment has a roomy living area, especially with the option to sit on the terrace out front. It also has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, though both rooms are quite small. In Sveti Filip I Jacov, the location is excellent, with indoor parking, a swimming pool in front of the apartment and the beach very close by. I had a very pleasant stay at Nedo Apartment.
We went at the end of summer, when there weren't any other guests, so we had the whole property to ourselves and really enjoyed it. The owner was very friendly, and the apartment was lovely, very clean and had everything we could need. The grounds, pool area included, were also clean and well cared for. We'd love to return.
Getting here on Saturday was easy, and the hosts were there to check us in and show us around. They're nice people. We've been coming to Croatia for a while, and hosts have usually offered some local food and drinks, so I noticed that. The outdoor area was clean, with a cleaning lady around all day, and the hosts leave at some point. English is useful here, since communication can be a bit difficult otherwise. The apartment is nicely furnished and has what you need, though the cutlery could do with replacing and we missed having a toaster. The regular beds were fine, but the sofa bed only works for children. As an adult, I'm too heavy and tall for it. The bathroom is roomy enough and has a window for ventilation. Bed linen and towels are supplied, at least for the bathroom and kitchen. The terrace has lots of chairs and a table, and the two olive trees in the middle are a lovely touch. The air conditioning is in the center of the apartment, so the bedrooms get quite warm unless you leave the windows open. The pool is just a short walk away, making it easy to keep an eye on the kids while they swim. There are four parking spaces in front. I'd pick the two under the grapevines, since the car's paint doesn't get as hot there and the air conditioning has less work to do when you set off. There's also a barbecue area and a sort of wine cellar where you can sit, as shown in the accommodation pictures. We didn't use the grill. It was 36 degrees, and we'd rather jump in the pool. With children, the walk to the beach takes about 15 minutes. You have to walk along a road, so watch out for cars, especially after dark. They go very fast and there aren't many sidewalks. The beach is clean and fairly long, but narrow, as is typical for the area. Watch out for sea urchins, which are all over the rocks in the water and on the concrete walls. Water shoes are a must. There are lots of restaurants nearby, though everyone's tastes differ, so I won't review them. For five of us, including the children, a meal out always cost €60 / 450 Kuna. A scoop of ice cream is 12-16 Kuna here. Groceries and alcohol cost a bit more than in Germany, probably because it's a tourist area. Lidl and Kaufland are close by and have the widest selection.
