Beautiful place.

The quiet location, lovely view, nice-looking exterior, and small beach nearby are the only things I liked. I’m giving one star for the terrace view, the garden gazebo, and the location. The rest was deeply disappointing. We’ve been visiting Croatia since 2006 and have never had such a bad experience. The Booking rating seemed far too high, and I think anyone who finds the comfort acceptable for the price may be new to Croatia and swept up in the atmosphere, rather than noticing the apartment’s condition. The place needs renovation, and in my experience the owner seemed focused on profit. I’ve travelled for years and had never met an owner like this. At the end of September, we were charged 10 euros a day for our dog, which is ridiculous, especially since there wasn’t even a water bowl for it. Inside, the apartment was falling apart with age. The sheets were so worn they were coming apart, the shutters were broken and kept falling down, and sunlight came through the boards of the entrance door. It felt like nothing was being invested in the property. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment on the first floor, with a balcony and sea view. It seemed to have been built in the late 80s or perhaps early 90s. The bathroom was filthy and moldy; we cleaned it with Domestos when we arrived. The sinks were tiny, like something from 40 years ago. This place should cost at most half as much. At the end of September, I paid 60.5 euros per night for two adults and a small child, plus the dog. For that price, you can easily find accommodation in a nice, tidy setting and location. I don’t recommend staying here at all. I’m sharing photos of this ruin for anyone who doubts it.

The shower enclosure leaks, so you have to deal with it by mopping the floor. For the beach, I recommend skipping the one by the bar. Walk down to the crossroads, cross the road, then head slightly left where the cars are parked in the campsite. The shower there is free, and the larger pebbles on the beach don’t muddy the water. 😉

We had a lovely break for people over 50. The apartment for two was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the balcony and its beautiful sea view.
