While we were in the room, the owner moved our things from the balcony without asking or warning us. We thought someone had robbed us at first. Finding out what happened later left us feeling like we had been watched the whole time. It was horrible. We could hear the loud main door closing all night because the sound insulation was poor. The room also had no blinds, so sunlight woke us at 6:30.
The owner was really friendly and attentive to the details. The rooms were very clean and smelled pleasant.
The night was disturbed by the outdoor air conditioning unit right below the window above the bed. We had been told in advance, but the fridge was switched off when we arrived, which wasn't good in August. The owners entered our room to adjust its settings, even though there was no cleaning or linen change needed. We were left without ice to keep food cold while we spent the day at the beach. There wasn't even a broom for cleaning or a stove for making coffee.
The whole property was very clean and well kept, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. The room had a fridge and very convenient air conditioning, though no kitchen. The only downside was the noisy Italian guests, which wasn't the host's fault, so I'm still giving five stars. Everything was excellent and very clean.
A nice, well-equipped room, about a five-minute drive from a restaurant and two minutes from the town square. Its central spot made it easy to get around the island.
