A quiet place, with very nice rooms and a really good view.

This was a nightmare from start to finish, and I absolutely do not recommend the place. The owner should be dealt with by the appropriate authorities. I warn others to stay away. If a zero rating were possible, it would fit this place, especially the owner. We rented long-term from September to June after seeing the listing on Nuškalo. The owner, Laura S., treated our whole family shamelessly and failed to provide adequate living conditions through the winter. The old, leaky windows wouldn’t close properly. The bathroom smelled foul, and the electrical system couldn’t handle the heaters. The power went out whenever we used the kitchen, even just to boil water. There were problems from the beginning with the contract and signing the handover protocol. The faucet had broken before we arrived, and there were attempts to charge us for repairs to very old plumbing fixtures. Our privacy was invaded when her mother, a doctor, arrived without warning, smelling of alcohol. She entered the apartment and rooms, including the bathroom while our child was using it, and insulted us. She claimed this wasn’t a hotel and that they wouldn’t serve us. In the end, we had to call a lawyer to relinquish the apartment. Several contract clauses had been violated, allowing termination, but our €500 deposit still hasn’t been returned, even though the contractual deadline has passed. It was fraud, deception, and unreliability.

Please be careful. We travelled from Poland with a child and a dog for a long-term rental, and we were tricked. We’re waiting for our deposit back, after threats and blackmail. We reported the matter to the police and now to the embassy. The apartment was cold, smelly, and unbelievably dirty. I’ve never seen filth like it. We’ve been here since September, with the wind howling through like it was a gazebo. The bathroom walls had mold, and the drain smelled terribly, like an overflowing cesspool. The washing machine didn’t heat the water, so the clothes came out musty. The taps didn’t work, and grout was falling off the windows. The woman said there was parking by the apartment, and there was. The traffic jams were constantly breaking down, so anyone wanting to work on a rope should forget it. It was impossible to communicate with her, as if she didn’t understand what was being said or was being calculating. Be cautious.
