He was arrogant and rude, and didn't want to give the money back.

After arriving in Tisno, 1200km into the trip, we were left stressed and had to find somewhere to stay at the last minute with four small children. Avoid this place if you don't want to lose your money.

We were traveling with four children under the age of 3, and they were there through the whole morning as we argued with the owner about getting a refund. It was the worst part of an already very stressful situation. After our 1200km journey, we arrived in Tisno to find that the accommodation we'd booked was fully booked. The owner asked us to cancel an hour before arrival and refused to return the money we'd prepaid, leaving us to find somewhere else at the last minute. He was aggressive, kept raising his voice, wouldn't speak to the translator, and used Croatian swear words. We were scared for a while. He showed no willingness to cooperate or resolve anything, and we were very disappointed. The accommodation was on a hill, which wasn't mentioned in the description. We absolutely don't recommend it, and warn other travelers to avoid the same problems.
