Apartment Niki 2

The owners were lovely and easy to chat with, and their cute dog was a bonus. They were quick to reply on WhatsApp, and there’s parking, a kitchen, and laundry service. I’d say you really need a car or bicycle to stay here, though.

We slept comfortably, and the terrace has a stunning view both day and night. The apartment is in a fairly quiet part of town, with no noise bothering us. It’s well equipped for a longer stay, with comfortable beds, mosquito screens on the windows and terrace doors, and an AC unit that cools the whole place despite there being only one. The private lot has plenty of parking spaces, and the prices are reasonable. The furniture and appliances are a little worn and dated, but everything works. My only real gripe is the TV setup: there’s one small TV in the living room and none in the bedrooms. One bedroom even has antenna and power sockets, and it looks like a wall mount was taken down and the wall patched up. I’d have given it five stars if there were TVs in the bedrooms. The owner was polite, nice, and easy to approach.

There’s very little around the place, and everything is far away. The room itself was tiny and dark, with just a small window, two beds, a TV, and a wardrobe. No table, fridge, or pot either. It felt pretty depressing, and I was glad we’d only booked two nights. For such a high price, I don’t think it was worth it. We found a much better room with a sea-view balcony near Dubrovnik for almost the same money. I’d think carefully before booking this place.

We were here for two days and were happy to have found this place. The owners were so nice, and the rooms felt warm and welcoming. We’d love to come back next year!
