Apartment Marietta

We had a cozy, spotless apartment with everything well equipped, and a lovely view of the sea. Ivan & Marija were welcoming and helpful, and the service was high quality for a fair price. Such a great place!

Tribunj is gorgeous, and the apartment has lovely views, was clean and comfortable, and sits just a few steps from the sea. We spent a couple of years here across three visits from 2011 to 2013, and Ivan and Marija were brilliant hosts each time, friendly and generous with their local advice. Seeing a few one-star reviews recently surprised me, since they seemed unfair and out of step with our experience. We’ll definitely stay at Marietta again when we’re back in the area.

I loved the natural beaches north of the village, which were within walking distance, and I’ll definitely come back. The balcony was a highlight, with lovely views of the sea, sunsets and stars, plus enough room for yoga in the fresh sea air. The apartment was spacious and cozy, with a big bed, a fully equipped kitchen and everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. It was also spotless. Around the house there are Croatian plants and trees, including olives and pomegranates, and two sweet turtles by the door. Ivan and Marija are lovely hosts who help whenever you need it. Marija also makes beautiful art if you’re looking for a souvenir. The place really felt like home.

Parking was ideal for our big car, and the apartment was clean, so we felt very safe there. Ivan & Marija were wonderful hosts and even showed us around Tribunj and lent us bikes. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back.
