The host canceled our reservation at the last minute. I assume it was because we wouldn’t agree to a higher rental price that wasn’t in the agreement.

He canceled our accommodation while we were driving there. It seems this has happened in other cases here too.

Don’t trust them. Instead of a holiday, you’ll get stress 😢

We booked well ahead, but our Croatia trip was canceled on the day we set off. We believe it happened because, after paying for the whole stay, we legally refused to accept a price increase. If you want to avoid stress, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The owners waited for us when traffic delayed us and gave us the keys outside check-in hours, which was really helpful. The apartment has a separate living room and bedroom, and everything was clean. We even got fruit and sweets as a welcome gift. There are lots of lovely cats around too, a nice bonus if you like animals. Excellent!
