There was no microwave, and the pool came with an extra charge of 20 euros a day that hadn't been made clear. The owner asked us to switch off the AC whenever we went out. I understand that's environmentally friendly, but it's not what I want to deal with on vacation.

The usual beach is about 5 km away, even though the strait is only 1.5 km off, and there's no beach by the bridge shown in the photo. With little children, I wouldn't consider this place. The apartments are at the end of the street, where the narrow roads make access difficult for cars and scooters. Be careful with the deposit. The lady speaks reassuringly, but then you may not be able to get your deposit back.

We had to stay elsewhere, and the owner still kept our money. I asked for the deposit back because I felt we had been misled, but she wouldn't listen. Swimming meant driving to the water, where parking costs 22 euros per day. The road climbs 35 metres uphill, and it's a disaster trying to pass another car with someone coming up behind you. She keeps getting dates available as people leave in desperation, apparently without getting their accommodation deposits back. When I said I'd report her to the authorities for misleading people, she hung up on me.

We were five, and everything went well. The landlady was very friendly and could speak German. Wi-Fi was the one thing that could be better, since it was a little weak.
