The location makes it easy to get to the center, the kitchen is well equipped, and the hosts were very sweet. Beyond that, the stay was hard to enjoy. The road outside is terribly busy, with constant cars and motorbikes making so much noise that the balcony was unusable and we couldn't get a quiet moment. Split airport is another issue, with planes passing about 500 m overhead; the reviewer estimates this affected 10 percent of flights. The rooms have a stark socialist look, with torn sofas and a worn kitchen. The stove barely heats and isn't suitable for cooking, and there wasn't much hot water. The internet was extremely slow or often unavailable. These things made our stay miserable. If you're considering this accommodation, avoid it as much as possible.

The hosts were the highlight. They welcomed us warmly, gave us local drinks and Dalmatian specialties, and brought fresh lemons and tomatoes from their garden every day. They even cooked us a delicious local grilled meal one evening, and helped us pick restaurants and shop. We were five, and the apartment had plenty of space, with two bedrooms, a bathroom, hall, kitchen, small living room, and terrace. The Old Town is just a 3-4-minute walk away. There’s an intimate nearby beach where you'll mostly meet locals, though the main beach is about a 15-minute walk. Highly recommend!!!
