Hotel Trogir Palace

I’m glad I only had one night here. The rooms are small, and I couldn’t find a blanket, just a small square bedsheet that didn’t cover my whole body. Breakfast was okay, but the hotel charges for everything, even using the coffee machine. Honestly, it sucks. It was quite clean, though, and there were no bugs.

The kitchen ladies were lovely and did a great job, their service was a 5. We still had a nice time, though we paid too much for the service we got. We splurged on a 2 bedroom suite for our last two nights in Europe. It was very clean, with comfortable beds, three beautiful patios and spectacular views. The old, car-free part of Trogir, with its shops and restaurants, was an easy walk away. But the first night there was no hot water, so my daughter had to take a cold shower. The next day we were told to let the water run for 20 minutes, which worked, but meant we couldn’t use the in-room Jacuzzi tub or sauna the first night as planned. The room phones didn’t work for calling the front desk, we couldn’t find the living room TV remote, and Wi-Fi only worked in the room, not other areas like the breakfast room. Water spilled out of the shower every time, so we used most of our towels drying the bathroom floor and were short on towels. We also couldn’t get the spa appointments we wanted 😕. I hate writing bad reviews. Hopefully the hotel will fix these things. If someone had run the water before we arrived, the whole stay might have gone differently, and I might not have noticed the smaller issues.

A good hotel in Trogir, in a beautiful spot. The rooms are excellent and it’s very well located.

This gem was the perfect end to our vacation after our tour back to Split. It was easy to walk into old town Trogir and reach the beaches, and driving to Split airport was simple too. Top class. Thanks for being part of my vacation!
