Hotel Vila Tina

We stayed the night before flying out of Split airport. The room was spacious, with a big, comfortable bed, and the food was good and fairly priced. It’s a family-run boutique hotel, with lovely sea views from the outdoor dining area and some rooms. Everyone was friendly, especially Sonya, who served us at lunch and dinner. A great stay.

The beds were the most comfortable I’ve slept in anywhere. We stayed six nights and I slept like a baby every night. The view was unforgettable, and the location worked well for us, just a 12-minute drive from Split airport. Hotel Vila Tina has such kind, helpful people. They respond quickly, make check-in and checkout easy, and help with luggage. Housekeeping was efficient and accommodating, the stairs were easy to manage, and the recently remodeled bathrooms are lovely. Breakfast is included and was incredible, with plenty for vegetarians and meat-eaters: salads with tuna, smoked salmon, couscous with vegetables, pastries, eggs, quiche, cheese and cold cuts, yogurt with granola, muesli fixings, fresh fruit and vegetables, coffee, and juice. Sitting on the terrace over breakfast and coffee each morning was a treat. We also had a dozen dinners at the restaurant, and can recommend everything we tried. The fish soup was delicious. My favorite starter was the ravioli with sheep cheese, shrimp, and truffles. The octopus salad was lovely too, though if you only have room for one appetizer, I’d choose the creamy ravioli. For mains, we loved the Beefsteak Vila Tina with mushroom and prosciutto sauce, pork in plum and red wine sauce, stuffed rump steak with ham and cheese, whole grilled Orada (sea bream), and grilled lamb. There’s a sauna and jacuzzi on site for easing sore muscles after a long day of sightseeing. We’d give the restaurant and Hotel Vila Tina ten stars for service, comfort, views, and delicious food.

The staff were so kind and welcoming. Our room was really comfortable, and the restaurant food was tasty and great value. Highly recommend.
