Rooms Roso

The rooms are cute, and some have more than one bed. There's a mini fridge in some rooms. The kitchen and reception space is nice, especially for chilling wine to take up to the rooftop terrace. The location in town is perfect.

The owner was friendly, and the location was very good. The room was generally nice and clean, but the details need attention. The shower curtain looked like it had never been washed, it was very dirty and brown. The shower head's chrome was peeling, though replacing it would be cheap and it could last for years. The fan was old, dirty, noisy, and barely moved any air. It was very warm in the room, so a working fan would have helped a lot. The furniture throughout the building was very old, and the sink and shower were old too, though still usable. With those conditions, paying more than €50 a night didn't feel cheap. Small, inexpensive repairs would make the place look much better and feel worth the money. I've stayed in hostels many times and had better conditions. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures.

I was travelling alone and spent one night here. The owners are a helpful family who made me feel at home, and the place is right in the city centre. If you're staying overnight in Trogir, you should visit the village too, it's so beautiful and you won't regret it. This was a perfect place to sleep.

Everything you might need or want to do is just around the corner, and the location is very good value. It's my second time in Trogir and my second stay at rooms roso. The family run place is simple, charming, and spotlessly clean, and I felt comfortable there. I'd recommend it. Be sure to try pizza at mirkec and ice cream at bella.
