Hotel Trogirski Dvori

My flight was cancelled after I got to the airport, and the receptionist waited for me until 2:30 AM. That was a lifesaver. The hotel was very clean, with a modern room and good air conditioning. For a three-star place, in my opinion it doesn’t get much better. I didn’t use the pool, but it looked lovely. Breakfast was okay, though it could use more options.

The beds were clean and comfortable, and the staff spoke English and were glad to help me practice Croatian. After staying in at least 14 hotels across the Balkans over three weeks, I found the rooms a decent size, though they first seemed a little small. For a 3 star hotel, trogirski dvori is great. It’s about a 25 minute walk or a short bus ride to Trogir’s old town, around 10 minutes by bus to the airport, and 25 minutes to Split.

The room was a little old, but it was in very good shape and clean. The bathroom was clean too, the hot water worked, and the AC was great. We could use the swimming pool at any time. We ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and the fish and pizza were very good. The staff were wonderful and helpful, especially the woman working the afternoon shift. We had a lovely stay.

The team were so friendly and helpful, and the service was great. The rooms and their furnishings are quite old and worn, though everything was clean. It’s right on the main road, with central Trogir not too far away and Split about half an hour away.
