There was no hot water in the morning, and I found clumps of hair on the floor. The window frame was broken too. The instructions for collecting and returning the key weren’t clear, but luckily I met a woman next door who explained what to do.

The rooms were lovely and spotless, and they even bake their own bread for breakfast. The gentleman looking after us made sure we had what we needed, including a special vegan breakfast for me. They were absolutely amazing.

We arrived at 10 PM after our ferry, and the late check-in was no trouble. The owners were so helpful, even sorting out a taxi to the airport and helping rearrange our return flight after SAS cancelled it. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable, with AC, and breakfast had bread, meat, eggs, juice, and coffee. Best restaurant is right there too, with good dinner and breakfast. We stayed two nights in July 20018, right in the middle of Trogir’s old town. Just perfect.

The guest rooms were very clean and the interior looked brand new. Villa Luna is right in central Trogir, so it was easy to go sightseeing or find somewhere to eat. We enjoyed our one night there before setting off on a sailing trip, and the breakfast was among the best in Trogir. I’ve been travelling and sailing in Croatia since 2002, and this is the best hotel I’ve booked so far. We’ll definitely be back.

A charming family-run little hotel in the old town. The owners and managers were lovely hosts, and breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from.
