With two families, having just one key was a nuisance because we had to keep borrowing it from each other. The air conditioning only works in the living room, while the other rooms have fans that were no help in the 36-degree heat. The owner kept a close eye on the pool from the ground floor and repeatedly reminded us about rules: no inflatables, no playing around in the water, no drinking by the pool, and everyone had to return to their rooms after 8 pm. We arrived two hours early and weren't even allowed to wait by the pool. He sent us into town and told us to come back at the exact check-in time.

The place was very clean and pleasant, though there was a lot of chlorine in the pool. We got our 150 euro deposit back without any trouble, even with a broken glass. The food made by the owner's father, who lives downstairs with his wife, was tasty and home-style, but priced like restaurant food. We couldn't leave our two airline bags there and go out earlier, so we arrived at 4:00 PM, which seemed normal. At checkout, we were asked to leave by 9:30 AM instead of the usual 10, because the next guests often want to arrive earlier. There's air conditioning in the living room and one bedroom, with ceiling fans in the other two. The TV didn't have a single Polish channel. Down in central Trogir, across the bridge and 200 meters to the right, there are two restaurants with Polish menus.

The interior could use a renovation, and there was no privacy around the pool since the owners live downstairs and look over it. They were often walking around the property and lecturing us. It's a poor location too, about a 2 km walk to the nearest beach. I wouldn't recommend it.

The view was lovely, and getting to town on foot was easy without being too noisy. We stayed in 2014, and the hosts were very friendly. They could cook for you for an extra charge, and the food was great.
