The pool and outdoor kitchen gave us good shared spaces, while the villa’s four self-contained units meant everyone could also have some privacy. There were just five of us, though it could easily accommodate a bigger group. We even had a pizza oven, but didn’t quite dare try it. Getting to Trogir takes about 15 minutes on foot, with a hill to climb in both directions. There’s also a quick boat ride into town, with the stop right across the road. Walking the other way brings you to more beach bars for daytime drinks and snacks, plus restaurants farther along. Toni was quick to answer our questions before the trip and while we were there. We’d loved Villa Verandah when we first stayed in 2016, and came back recently to find it even better. It’s a lovely place in a beautiful setting, and we hope to return.
