We arrived late, but the lovely couple who own the place fitted us in at the last minute and offered us a drink and coffee. We met some fellow travelers, who opened a bottle of Bosnian spirit. I can’t remember much of the night, but I woke up to a beautiful sea view and walked farther up the hill for an even better one. The garden was perfectly kept, with flowers all around and grapevine shading the terrace. The owners live next door and were so helpful. Such a little gem on the hillside in Trsteno. I’d love to return. Thanks so much for having us.

The apartment looked good and had a small shared garden. We spent all our time there because it was so much fun. The gentleman who rented us the house couldn’t meet us, but Google Maps made it easy to find. It’s 550 meters from the beach, and there was a very sweet cat too.

The view is fantastic, and the quiet surroundings stay nicely shaded outside, which felt great in 30+° weather. I’ve been here for a week and the place is clean, spacious, and decorated without feeling cluttered. The bathroom has what you need to keep hygienic. The owner is lovely. I damaged a towel and wasn’t charged for it. She can give directions in English, though conversation is harder. The one drawback is the lack of nearby supermarkets, so you need a bus to reach one. I’d recommend staying here.

There’s plenty of parking by the nearby church, though you can’t reach the place by car. It’s a very pleasant, quiet spot.
