We’ve stayed at Vila Anka in the “magical” Tučepi since 2012, often bringing friends and family from New Zealand and England. We’ve all been extremely pleased each time. The management are attentive and kind, and always take care of things like fresh linen. On our latest visit, we found that the already excellent accommodation had been improved further. I’m disabled, and the hosts have always arranged a ground-floor room for us. “Our” room now has a new bathroom with level shower access and handrails to help disabled guests. The route from reception to the two ground-floor rooms has also been made easier for disabled guests, including wheelchair users. With the management’s agreement, I can take my mobility scooter into our room. My wife’s niece came from England for her first trip to Croatia this year and was so impressed with Vila Anka. She watches a TV show at home where people stay in a hotel or similar place and suggest improvements. She said she wouldn’t be able to suggest a single improvement for Vila Anka, and she’s already looking forward to coming back.

We left two days early after getting hundreds of suspected bed bug bites, and the owner gave us no refund. The owner took us to “their doctor,” who said it was an allergy rather than bed bug bites. Anti-allergy medicine didn’t help. A doctor back home identified hundreds of bites. We received no refund from the owner. Verica Babic and her husband

It was quiet at night, and the apartment was beautiful, clean, and spacious. From the balcony we could see the Biokovo mountains and the new Skywalk attraction. There was Wi-Fi and a small kitchen with a cooker, kettle, glasses, cups, plates, pots, and cutlery, so everything was there. The owners were lovely, helpful, and very accommodating. The owners were always available, and the apartments were clean and nicely equipped. It’s a great summer holiday spot in Tučepi, close to the sea and town center. Highly recommended.
