The host welcomed us warmly and was quick to help whenever something came up. We had a few issues during the stay, and someone came over right away. The landlord spoke a little German, too. They really try to make things work, even though there are only two of them. The location by the water is beautiful, though the shore is stones rather than sand. We saw lots of different fish. The water gets very deep quickly, and there are sea urchins and plenty of shells, so I’d bring water shoes. The older apartment has ventilation that can be set to 16 degrees Celsius, and it was pleasant and quiet. The place has a lovely atmosphere. The main reason for 4 stars is the noise: the walls don’t block much sound, so you can hear the water pipes when someone showers and hear the neighbors. There’s also a nearby church whose bells ring every hour in the morning and around noon, as well as in the evenings. Our boiler broke, so we had no hot water for the last 3 days. It wasn’t a big deal for us since we almost always shower cold anyway. The landlord offered another apartment, but we turned it down because it didn’t seem worthwhile. That didn’t affect my rating. If anything goes wrong, tell the hosts, since nothing can be sorted out without talking to them. At least in our apartment, all the doors could be locked. Otherwise, we had a really lovely time. There was plenty of room for our family of six. We had two rooms with a double bed and an extra bed, a spacious, clean bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. The only thing we missed was a microwave. There were three large balconies with seating, which made the accommodation great for a holiday. The host was nice, and it was great value. The first pebble beach is about 300 metres away, so beach shoes are a must. I definitely recommend staying here.

The rooms were clean and parking was good. The host was helpful and kind. I recommend it to everyone.
