My family and I spent almost five months here last summer, and for us it's one of the best places in the world. It's beautiful, and Boris and Dragica, the wonderful owners, feel like part of our lives now.

I usually don't put much faith in what listings promise, but this apartment really surprised me in a good way. It's spacious, modern, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. The floors, bathroom, terrace tiles, and walls all looked new, with nice curtains and spotless furniture and couch. The kitchen had everything we needed to make and enjoy meals. There are three terraces, a huge 4K TV, a large boxspring bed, and other sleeping options. Mosquito nets cover all the windows and outside doors. There's a private, closed parking area, plus more spaces across the street if needed. It's a little outside Umag, so it's quiet. One road goes toward Umag, and the other toward Kanegra beach. The friendly owners can give you a printout showing how to get free access to Kanegra beach. The only thing I missed, and I'm being picky, was a small gas grill on the terrace. That's honestly it. I wish we could've stayed longer. After being disappointed with other places over the years, we really enjoyed our stay here.
