Apartments Kanegra Plava Laguna

Our bungalow for four was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. No ants, and surprisingly, no mosquitoes. It was affordable too. The one downside was that there was no air conditioning, so we brought a portable fan. The location is excellent. The sea is cleaner in the morning, but in the afternoon the main beach gets crowded and the water isn’t as clean.

All the kitchen items were covered in mildew or mold, and I found the apartments poorly equipped. That’s dangerous for kids. We also left a very expensive raincoat in the wardrobe. As we were leaving, we saw the cleaning lady going into our bungalow. The next day, we realized we’d left the coat behind and called and emailed the hotel right away. Staff were often impolite on the calls. They said they were trying to find it, but a week later told us they hadn’t. Maybe the new guests took it, maybe the cleaning lady took it and lied, or maybe she simply doesn’t clean the rooms properly. I think the Google reviews already say a lot. We’ll never stay here again. Higher management tried to “save” the situation with a bulls**t email. I’m sure they still haven’t done anything about this or the room hygiene.

I was disappointed and disgusted by how many bugs were in the room: spiders, ants, moths, flies, mosquitoes, and more. The furniture was old, with some pieces broken or torn, and the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. We stayed for 2 days, and housekeeping didn’t come once. There was mold on the shower curtain. I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping there. If the rooms had been properly cleaned, I wouldn’t be writing this. I’ve enjoyed most of the other Plava Laguna hotel rooms, but this location was horrible in my opinion. I sincerely hope Plava Laguna fixes the problem soon. I’d advise against booking this room. I won’t return, and if you’re considering staying here, I hope you don’t have a problem with bugs.

Street noise made it hard to sleep, with cars passing and crews cleaning the roads. Inside, the bungalows smelled moldy, and our towels and sheets went unchanged for five days. The dark, overfilled furniture also made it awkward to get around. Our stay at Kengra Camping, Croatia fell well short of what we expected and hurt the whole vacation. I wouldn't recommend this campsite, and would look elsewhere.
