We loved our stay at Plava Villas. The little villas are charming and well cared for, with a beautiful view. Since it was outside the holiday season, everything was quiet and peaceful, just right for relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The pools could have been a little warmer, but that was a small thing. We’d definitely come back.

There’s so much to enjoy here: our bungalow was clean, fresh-smelling, and equipped with everything, from dishes and cutlery to a microwave and dishwasher. It had a large shower and sun loungers on the terrace, with lots of greenery around. The beach is nearby and spacious, and there’s a marina, trampolines, a shop, plenty of facilities, three restaurants, and a bar. Pets are welcome, too. The service was mega nice! The place is huge but laid out really well. There are air-conditioned rooms in the main buildings, plus bungalows with terraces, gardens, and even your own grill just 50 meters from the cottage. Food at the hotel was average, but there are plenty of restaurants and taverns with fresh food in the nearby town. I recommend it and will definitely return.

The villas are lovely, the neighborhood is good for families and children, and the cleaning staff were kind and helpful. The check-in process, though, was VERY confusing. There’s a separate villa reception inside the area, and you’re supposed to wait in a designated spot for someone to collect you. There’s no doorbell or number to call, so you’re left waiting without knowing when they’ll show up, which can take ages. Also, beware of the resort’s only supermarket. It added items to our register that we hadn’t bought, and we lost 12€. We later found reviews describing the same experience. Ask for the receipt and check it carefully.

The property said it had mentioned an event on Booking, but the notice only referred to possibly more activity and people around. It didn't prepare us for two nights of techno pounding until 4 AM, with bass shaking the windows at Stella Maris. We chose a private villa, not a festival afterparty. If you're hoping to sleep or have some peace, this place wasn't it.

We’re here for the third time, and it’s been amazing for a family holiday. The location is great, and the restaurant staff at “Al Mare” really try to help. Breakfast is good, though I’d like to see some variety in the food and coffee without cocoa. For younger people, it’s especially fun to stay during the “Croatia open” tennis championship, when there are discos every day. Lots of love from Ukraine!❤️
