We came back hoping to repeat the great stay we had two years ago, but this time it was a very bad experience. The service has dropped a lot since then. Food is still tasty, but the selection and quality have both declined. Reception staff didn't know what entertainment was happening, and the entertainment team didn't stick to the schedule. Rain had been forecast, yet instead of adding activities for the kids, they cancelled even the scheduled indoor ones. For a family hotel where nearly every family has children, that's not acceptable. The children's ice cream is advertised from 4 to 5 pm, but when we arrived at 4:50, we were told it had run out. The welcome drink has been discontinued, which is okay, but reception didn't understand what we were asking about and answered something completely different. There are lots of small things around the pool and stairs that need repairs, including sharp objects and little holes that could hurt people's legs. The slides are fun, but water drips from them a lot, which made me question how safe they are.

This was our third visit, and probably not our last. It offers very good value for money and a pleasant stay. There's a small aquapark, tasty food, and a friendly, lively animation team. Staff are helpful and ready to step in, and kids get a small lunch, drinks, and ice cream during the day.

A great choice when you're travelling with kids. There's free lunch for them by the pool, loads of activities, and the animators are kind. Kids can stay in the hotel club with them on their own. The evening program is really fun, and the beach is amazing, just a three-minute walk away. Highly recommend!

We chose this place for its water park, and the pools and slides were great. The beach is a pleasant walk away under the trees. Parking was fine: the area around the hotel was full, but there's a big free lot nearby, and I found a shady spot there. The hotel works especially well for kids aged 4-12. Having an all-inclusive kids' lunch is a nice option for parents. I usually get a bit stressed on holiday about whether the kids will have a warm meal during the day, and this made it easy. The portions are small, with simple choices like rice and meat, potatoes, or pasta, but enough for them to carry on. One major downside was how much smoking there was. This is mainly a hotel for children, yet people smoked everywhere, including on room balconies and in the outdoor bar area on the way to the pool. My kids were around more smoke in the eight days we spent there than ever before. Pepi should be called Nicotino...

Everything was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was great for kids. Nurija at reception was especially kind and helpful, and the rest of the staff were wonderful too. We had a lovely stay at Garden Hotel Plava Laguna and would be happy to return. Highly recommended!
