The terraces all run together, so there’s no privacy. The kitchen equipment was incomplete, and the accommodation as a whole felt tasteless and unpretentious. We stayed only because we’d paid in advance, and went home instead of using the final night. The rooms and surroundings were dirty when we arrived, so we had to clean and wash the dishes again. I can prove with a photo that there were small black moving worms in the shower tray. Garbage and empty bottles were lying around by the outdoor trash can, and I can also prove with a photo that they had been thrown around. There was a shared laundry room, but the host kept it closed, so I couldn't photograph it. It looked as if a homeless person lived there. The lady hosting us was extremely unscrupulous. For three days she wore the same clothes she had sweated in the day before. When we went to have breakfast on the terrace, we were told not to turn on the air conditioning while the terrace door was open. I should mention that it DID NOT WORK! AMAZING!

The owners were great people and left us gifts, which added to the homely atmosphere. The accommodation had air conditioning, though the kitchen was less well equipped. The sea was about 500 meters away, with a lovely walk or free parking by the beach.

The owners are a really caring, lovely family, and especially good with children. The furnishings are simple but decent, with everything working. The location makes it easy to get to Pula and nearby cities, and there’s a bakery and small shop just across the road with basics like fruit, drinks, vegetables and milk. A supermarket is farther away. Crossing the street can be tricky because Croatian drivers aren’t very considerate, though that’s not the family’s fault. I’d recommend the apartments if you’re okay with a few small compromises.
