House 1719

We were on the ground floor at the back, with easy access to the exit and pool. The parking space was only just big enough for our Citroen Jumper, a nine-seater with a large trunk. The furniture felt like it was from the 80s, while the kitchen had enough equipment. There was a very basic, non-automatic coffee machine, plus essentials like soap and towels. We had an uncomfortable incident when two friends and their two children came to visit. The owner arrived, said no guests, and left. The rules mentioned not exceeding the residence capacity, which I understood to mean overnight stays. Airbnb later called us about it. I've never encountered a rule against having friends over. Maybe she misunderstood, or was worried about safety, but she could have explained the situation beforehand. Maybe I'm being shortsighted. I don't think I'll return, though who knows. No need to burn bridges.
