There’s a small, nothing-special beach about 2 km away. The owner was pleasant and helpful, but the hut has no air conditioning, so on hot days we had to go inside. The terrace is shared with the neighboring house, which means there’s no privacy. A grapevine forms a kind of roof overhead, but it brought a fermenting-wine smell and insects. We were more bothered by them than we’d ever been before.
