It's right on the beach, and the water was clean. There are a few restaurants nearby, and the hotel worked well for families with children since everything was close. The two pools were a plus, and there were free sunbeds on the beach, with space available even in high season. The rooms were clean, and I would definitely return. The staff were friendly, and communication with the hotel was excellent. They arranged our airport transfer with child seats, and on departure day we were allowed to keep the room for two extra hours. Breakfast was quite crowded, though, and finding a table for six was difficult. Longer breakfast hours might spread guests out better. The hotel didn't have bottled water to buy, and the nearest shop was 900 meters away, which made carrying water back to the room difficult without a car. Highly recommended.

What stood out most was the staff. Even during the busiest hours, everyone was extremely pleasant and kind. Shout out to Arno (Mile), Ivana, and all the other amazing folks who work there! The hotel is right by a beautiful beach that wasn't overly crowded. Beach beds and umbrellas were included, and there seemed to be enough for everyone. The rooms and bathrooms were very big, and they were cleaned and kept clean every day. There was a good range of food, and the sweets were our favorite.

A beautiful hotel with Mediterranean-style rooms. Our family room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and there was a good range of amenities. The sea-view rooms have a nice panorama. Staff were super friendly, especially the restaurant and room service teams. Dinner had plenty of options and was very tasty. Well worth a visit.

Right by the beach, which made the location fantastic. The rooms are spacious and the staff did a great job keeping them clean, with fresh towels every day. Lunch was à la carte and dinner was buffet style. Both were decent, though nothing special.

The Food and Beverage team led by manager Arno Blecich really stood out. Service was quick, professional, and attentive throughout, and the food was fresh, varied, and well prepared without any gimmicks. Blue Wave Resort in Malinska-Dubašnica was clean and well maintained, right beside the beach, and felt like good value. We were genuinely satisfied with our stay and would come back. It seems especially suited to families or couples wanting a relaxed, efficient break without paying too much.
