We loved the clear water and the private pier where we could sunbathe. It’s a very quiet spot, with shopping 10 minutes away by car and a restaurant 15 minutes on foot. The apartments are tidy and modern, with both sunny and shaded terraces. Best of all, the lady owner is absolutely charming and very helpful.

We found it much quieter than staying in Vela Luka, and the location was a good reason to recommend it. The beach is only a few minutes away, and the place was very clean. Vela Luka is about a 20-minute drive, though the road in is really narrow. Korcula old town is about 55 minutes away and well worth the drive.

The hosts were lovely and welcomed us with homemade treats. Five stars.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, and there are two covered terraces, including a large one with a table, plus a barbecue and laundry facilities. The hosts were kind, though they don't live on site, and we saw them twice. The setting is extremely peaceful, especially in June. It's a tiny village, listed as having 26 residents in the 2011 census. There isn't a shop there, with the nearest one in Vela Luka, 8 km away, and no promenades or other attractions for crowds. It's a lovely area for swimming, fishing and diving, and kayaks and boats can be rented. Boat hire or charters are fairly expensive, so I'd bring my own water gear if possible. Families with small children may find the nearby shore tricky. Access to the sea is by ladder or steps, and there's a gradual entry in the harbor, but there are lots of sea urchins. The closest beach with a gentle slope is Nova, around 2 km away.
