Alen - Apartment Alen

The tourist office handled the rental really well, always friendly and ready to help. We’d book again if we needed a large apartment in Veli Losinj. The location worked well too: the supermarket is close, and the center, harbor, beaches, and parking are all easy to reach on foot. Carrying luggage to the car takes a while, though that seems normal for the area. There’s plenty of room, with three bedrooms and fairly comfortable beds: one narrower double downstairs and two doubles upstairs. The air conditioning works on both floors, and the apartment has almost everything, except a coffee maker. The steep stone stairs to the first floor are a danger for small children. The furniture and rooms feel dated, and quite a few things are damaged or need attention. Drawers stick, tiles are missing, the water heater leaks, the shower rod is loose, the dishwasher’s top rack is broken, the fridge door panel is loose, and cupboard doors jam. These repairs really should be done before the next season. The large courtyard and front garden are let down by construction debris around the edges. There are only four chairs at the garden table, and the two balconies have little or no furniture.
