One apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large balcony, a kitchen, and a living room. The other has one bedroom and bathroom, a spacious living room, and a terrace with a grill area. Both come with a wonderful view over the city port, sea, and islands.

We had a lovely stay in mid to late September, and the owner was really friendly and accommodating. The hot tub was especially valuable on the colder days we had at the start. The apartment is quite high up, which might be great for experienced hikers. We left the car farther down and drove to the beaches or into town, and that worked out just fine.

The apartment was top-notch, the weather was great, and our week was fantastic. The landlord was lovely and even brought us a platter of bacon, cheese, and pancakes halfway through the week. The only drawback was that there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms.

It's around 3 km from the center of Makarska, with views of both the sea and mountains. A great spot if you're traveling by car.
