Our holiday ended up being more stressful than the time before we left, and this ordeal ruined the vacation. We wouldn’t stay here again. Although the place itself was nice, the service was anything but customer-friendly. The landlady discussed the key issue with us: €600 was taken from our security deposit because we left the keys inside the house when we left. After a long discussion, she also said we had broken a blind and failed to report it. That isn’t true, as we took photos before and after. We can’t understand the deduction, since we didn’t damage anything or do anything wrong. Was €600 really for a locksmith? They withheld the money without proof or a receipt. I can recommend the accommodation itself, but not the way this was handled.

It’s only a 5-minute drive to Makarska. The villa is spacious and quiet, with amazing views. Each room has its own bathroom and balcony, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. The amenities were adequate, and the pool was cleaned often.

A lovely spot with a sea view, though getting there means a very long walk up a really steep, big hill.
