The sea and peninsula feel quiet and safe, and the water is clear. Getting to Viganj means a short but steep walk, with plenty of summer restaurants and bars plus a small shop. Taxis and water taxis to Korcula and further afield are easy to arrange. Back at the villa, there’s a lovely pool facing the sea and a big outdoor seating area. All four bedrooms are spotless and have their own bathrooms. The views are outstanding, and the owners are incredibly helpful and charming.

The house is overpriced and has no real amenities. The neighbors warned us when we arrived that Ivan was a scammer, though we assumed they simply weren’t on good terms. We rented the house for €800 for three nights. The booking said no advance payment was required, though it asked for our card number, which we provided. Payment was due at the property. On departure day, my friends and I paid Ivan €800 in cash and left the place clean and tidy. We were all adults, aged 25 or older. Less than half an hour later, he asked us for another €100, saying he was supposed to give it to booking. The agreed price had already been paid, so I thought he was making up a charge to pocket the money. I do the same kind of work myself, and I couldn't help laughing at it. Then, three months later, he called to say he still hadn't been paid for the property. If we'd intended to cheat him, we wouldn't have sent photos of our IDs or entered a card number on booking. And if we hadn't paid, why did he let us leave and wait three months to call? “Mr.” Ivan is rude and tried to get money from us twice. He seemed to think six young women wouldn't know any better. A real disgrace for a landlord.

We felt relaxed straight away at this fantastic holiday home. It’s well equipped, with a great view and a pool set up with loungers and cushions. The owner is incredibly friendly and loves sharing information about the area and its people. His little restaurant is well worth a visit. Olive trees, rosemary, and lavender are arranged beautifully around the place. We’d definitely recommend it and will be back!

We were delighted with dinner at the owner's place nearly every evening, and always left full. Communication was seamless, and the friendliness and understanding made a real difference. The villa and outdoor area are fantastic, spotlessly clean, and perfectly equipped. The pool is beautiful, and the price feels completely fair for what you get.
