Beachfront Apartments Tamarix

Milica made us feel as if we were staying with family. She was so friendly and helpful, always smiling. The place was clean and peaceful, and the location was perfect: just 2 meters from the sea, with the store and beach a few steps away and a restaurant and bar nearby. I'd love to return to Tamarix and watch those breathtaking sunsets from its windows again 😍

The beach is only 2 min away, and it's a great spot for kids. The apartments were comfortable and very clean, with a really nice view. The kitchen could use some more dishes and cooking accessories, though. Our host was friendly and helpful. I truly recommend it.

The location is lovely, very close to the water and a beach, but our stay went badly. We accidentally got locked out of our room for 24 hours with all our belongings inside. The owner couldn't get the door open with the spare keys because our keys were in the lock on the inside. We were allowed to sleep in another room that night, and she kindly promised it would be free because of what had happened. In the morning, though, she said she didn't remember saying that the night before because she was tired, and tried to charge us for it. At checkout she also asked for 10 euros for letting us use the phone to call the travel company and the internet while we were locked out, even though wifi was meant to be free. We got back into our room on the second day, but the owner's attitude was unpleasant. We ended up leaving Tamarix after half of our week there. We'd rather lose that money and spend the last couple of days of our holiday at another hotel. The hotel also didn't feel like four star standard. There were spider webs in some corners, some towels were stained, and we were told the AC couldn't be left running for long. The reception was nearly always empty. When we called, the number rang on the owner's phone, but we could hear it ringing in another room and got no answer.

We were very happy with the service. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, and we liked the clean, air conditioned rooms and beautiful view too. There was a wide range of food at breakfast, including pencakes, vegetables, fruits, ham and eggs, and salami...
