Ma Vero Residence

We were very comfortable at Villa MaVeRo for 12 nights with our two children and two adults. We’re already looking forward to coming back 💛 Banjole is a small, peaceful place, with beaches and little bays, plus restaurants and shopping nearby. At the apartment, A1, we had plenty of space, and it was clean and tidy. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening on the covered balcony, looking out over the small bay. Vesna and Mario are lovely owners. When we arrived, Vesna had left ice cream in the freezer. She also brought homemade treats to our door several times and took care of our laundry 🥰

The dog beach is just a three-minute walk away, and there’s a big meadow between the house and the restaurants where you can play with your dog. With two or three good restaurants within a five-minute walk, it’s an ideal spot for a holiday with a dog. We spent two weeks there with our dog at the end of May 2024, in the downstairs apartment with a terrace. It was a lovely stay, and the apartment lived up to our expectations: very clean and fully equipped. The host family lives downstairs in the same house and were friendly and helpful. They even cooked for us regularly, which made it easy to enjoy our holiday. Everyone had a great time. We’d happily return and recommend it.

We could easily have stayed longer. There are three restaurants within walking distance, dogs are welcome, and a small supermarket is close by. We especially loved having breakfast on the balcony after walking to the bakery with our dog, with the bay in view. In the evening, it was lovely to relax there by candlelight with red wine under the stars. The house sits in a green setting, and the rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen has everything you need. Mrs. Vesna was always helpful and friendly, and surprised us with apple strudel and burek.

Our ground-floor apartment had a terrace and a shady parking spot beneath a kiwi plant. The surroundings were lush and green, with lots of flowers, and the beach wasn’t far away. We were welcomed so warmly, with cold drinks in the refrigerator and delicious cake. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed.
