A lovely family holiday spot, with a tennis court, mini football, and a play area for little kids, all in the garden.

Apartment B is a spacious attic with two bedrooms, suitable for a family of four. It's reached by a steep ladder, though, so anyone with mobility issues may prefer one of the other two apartments. The kitchen is well equipped, including an oven and dishwasher, but there's no microwave. As someone Italian who's used to cooking, I didn't find that a big deal. There's a table for four inside and a private terrace with an umbrella, drying rack, and table for six. The host was fantastic and loves Italy, which shows in how the apartment is set up. The only thing missing for me was a moka pot, so we brought ours from home. The kitchen lighting is a little dim, and an extra lamp would help. The apartment is close to a supermarket and a beach. The nicer beaches are elsewhere, but easy to reach by car, so it's a handy base for exploring the whole island. The property is quiet and away from the bustle, on a large plot with pine forest, swings, bocce, a soccer field, and a tennis court, which is the only facility you pay to use. Highly recommended for a vacation in Vir.

The sea is very close, and the beach is decent. There's also a shaded parking spot behind the property. The rooms and owners were fine, and I'd recommend the place. Its big plot, set among forest and olive trees, gives you peace away from the nearby houses, which are packed into narrow streets where lots of people stay up at night. The only sound that breaks the quiet is the cicadas.

The beach is only about 150-200 m away, and we enjoyed the walk into town for some excellent ice cream. The woman of the family, who is the mother or grandmother, was so warm and chatty, always offering things to help us feel at home. Her grandson was friendly and easy to talk to as well. Nothing but praise 👍👍👍
