The photos matched the place, and our first-floor apartment was clean and pleasant. It had a TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. The beach was about a five-minute walk, clean and not crowded, and the sea was fantastic when we visited in July. Parking was a little farther away, also around a five-minute walk. Vir had fewer tourists, clean beaches, and lower prices than the mainland, though the views weren't as beautiful as around the Makarska area. The owner was very friendly.

We had the attic unit, and I don't think it was worth the price. It was cramped and uncomfortable, especially the bathroom, where there was barely room to turn around. Parking was about five minutes from the apartment, with nowhere to park nearby. The woman tried to be nice, but she didn't really understand English.

The walk to the beach was about 300 meters, but the beach itself was very small and narrow, and you had to walk another 300 meters. Parking was 150 meters from the apartment. We also had just one bath towel for the whole family. The Wi-Fi was another problem, very weak and practically unusable. We can only give it 2 stars, and wouldn't recommend it for a family.

We were eight in total, four adults and four kids, and there was plenty of room for us. The accommodation was lovely, clean and tidy, on a quiet street about 200 meters from the sea. One car could park at the apartment, and there's free parking about 60-70 meters away if you bring more. Shops, a bakery and a restaurant are nearby. Mama Sdenka was so kind and welcoming, greeting us with coffee, brandy, beer and soft drinks when we arrived. We had a great week here, and I can recommend it.

A nice place, finished to a higher standard, with a big terrace and a pleasant owner. Getting in and out is a bit awkward because the street is a dead end. Reversing an MPV back onto the main road takes some nerve 🙂
