Villa Karmen

The pool was a major safety concern. There was an opening with very sharp edges inside it, and two people in our group got cut. That needs to be fixed before anyone else is injured. We stayed for six days, and the apartment was much smaller than we expected. The beds were uncomfortable, the bedding was just a thin sheet, and there weren’t enough towels for six people. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with no toaster and very old appliances. The bathroom was difficult to use too. The shower had only a weak trickle, and adjusting the temperature was extremely hard. The water came out either scalding hot or ice cold, with no comfortable lukewarm setting. We chose the property partly because the listing made it sound as though the pool would be private for our group. It wasn’t, so we felt misled. The apartment’s condition and the inaccurate description left us very disappointed. The listing should be updated to reflect what guests will actually find, and I hope the safety and comfort issues are taken seriously and improved.
