The ferry was the biggest issue for me. It docks right below the apartment and can sit there a long time with its engines and exhaust fans running, both during the day and at night. Overnight was worse, since it stays in port all night and the noise is annoying. I think those details should be mentioned in the listing for the sake of fairness. Getting there also means climbing a steep hill, which could be a problem for an older person or someone with walking difficulties. The price could be lower for that reason. The apartment itself is small, and so is the bathroom, though the terrace has a fairly nice view. That’s why I gave it three stars.

The hosts were friendly and professional, and the apartment had been freshly renovated with new furniture and all the necessary facilities. From the terrace you can see the whole Bay of Vis. It’s an excellent location, about five minutes from the ferry port and waterfront, and ten minutes from the city beach. We’d recommend it and would come back for another vacation.
