The owner’s response was what shocked us most. When we brought up the problems, he was incredibly rude and dismissive, saying “this is just the way things are” and “of course things cannot be the same as advertised.” The apartment needs a thorough clean and renovation. There was dampness, mold in the bathroom, and a very unpleasant smell from the kitchen cabinets. One bathroom had a broken toilet because of plumbing issues, and the kitchen barely had any utensils. The terrace and view are beautiful, but unfortunately those were the only good parts of our stay.

Kut and Vis Luca are close by, so it’s easy to get to the livelier village while the apartment itself stays quiet. Luca and Jeannette are great hosts, and every afternoon there was a nice get-together to swap experiences and get helpful advice. A very nice apartment in a great location. Highly recommended!

The balcony was large, and the views were stunning. The apartment was much more spacious than we expected, clean throughout, and had a comfortable large bed. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, though neither of the two gas burners worked. The other two electric burners were fine. We had a welcome drink when we arrived, and the host showed us a map with a few places to visit. Our stay was short, so we barely got to try any of the suggestions, but it was a nice welcome all the same. It’s a great base for exploring Vis, very close to the city centre. The bath and shower combination wasn’t really my thing. The tub got slippery, and even with the showerhead at its highest setting it only reached my shoulders. It wouldn’t stay in place either, so we used an elastic band to hold it up a bit. You can park in the driveway, but it’s steep and narrow. Coming in from the right worked best. I tried turning in from the left once and scraped the floor or bumper on a bump. I also needed a bit of a run-up. Still, we had an excellent stay. And that view! ;)

The owner was really nice and picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry port. The apartment was decent, with an amazing balcony view, good water pressure in the shower, and the village centre not too far away. We stayed in the upper apartment, where WiFi didn’t reach the bedroom, though it worked in the kitchen and on the balcony. I’d recommend it to anyone.
