The old city walls are part of the complex, and ceramic pieces from the Bronze Age, about 5,000 years old, were found during pool construction. That history gives the place a special feel. It’s also under 100 metres from the old city square, so it's easy to explore on foot, yet the property stays remarkably quiet. The host was welcoming and helpful, with useful information that made check-in easy. My room was comfortable and well kept, and the view through the pool window was a lovely touch. The pool is a good size for a refreshing dip or just relaxing beside it. Private parking in the yard was convenient, especially so centrally. Good value for money and a memorable stay.

Višnjan is right in the centre of Istra, which makes it a handy base for going out to explore. Don't miss the Višnjan Observatory! The apartments are clean and really nice, and the large pool has plenty of space to soak up the sun. The location is excellent, and the host was cordial and very helpful.
