We left disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for attentive service and food made with care. There are so many places to eat nearby that the little details matter, and this one fell short despite its pleasant atmosphere and fair prices. As restaurant owners ourselves, we often pick a place from its photos and Google reviews, and this looked like one of the better choices in the area. The fish wasn’t bad quality, but it was bland, with little seasoning or imagination in how it was prepared. In such a competitive spot, we expected more care and energy from the kitchen. Service also felt disorganized. Drinks we hadn’t ordered arrived, and one server’s awkward jokes and trouble understanding simple requests in English made us uncomfortable. He seemed under the influence of something, though I can’t say whether it was alcohol or anything else. I asked specifically for fresh chili with my €26 seafood platter, but that request wasn’t understood or followed. They brought a generic spicy sauce instead. When we arrived with our dog, they eventually brought water, which was a thoughtful gesture in principle, but it was poured into what looked like a reused ashtray that hadn’t been rinsed properly. A water bowl isn’t required, of course, but that kind of detail can shape the experience. The place came across as doing the bare minimum for passing tourists. If you just want somewhere to sit and eat, it may be enough, but we were hoping for more thoughtful hospitality and a memorable meal.

The staff were warm and attentive, and I felt welcome throughout the meal. The seafood was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully served. I had a great time here and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food and service.

With the season only just getting going, we felt very welcome. We had drinks and a lovely meal while watching the sun go down and taking in the scenery. The chicken with Gorgonzola cream sauce and wedges was delicious, as was the lamb fillet with mashed potatoes. Well done to the whole team.

The food is delicious and the staff are always friendly. It’s worth every cent, and I highly recommend it.
